524th anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. A meeting was held in the hall of the college devoted to the 524th anniversary of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur - a poet, thinker and a statesman. The event was organized by the Enlightenment and Spirituality department of the college and the teacher of Linguistics chair - I.Ziyayeva. After the introductory speech, the students of 110th and 111th groups read some samples from the gazels and rubais of the poet. Also, the students showed a fragment from the novel of Pirimkul Kodirov "Yulduzli tunlar" ("Starry nights"). After the speech of guests, the gathered could enjoy the music and dance performed by the students of the college.

566th anniversary of Alisher Navoi. A scientific literal meeting was held in the library of the college on the topic "Praise of profession in the works of Alisher Navoi" devoted to the 566th anniversary of the poet. The event was organized by the chairwoman of the women's committee of the college L.H.Ismailova, the teacher of Uzbek language and literature M.K.Safarova and the employees of the library. the meeting was held according to the following programme:

"Motherland defenders' day " The chair of Predraft Training of Youth carrioes out many work on preparing morally stable and physically strong youth to the obligatory military service. Annual sport competitions called "Shunqorlar" is an example of the abovesaid. An event, organized by the chair, was held devoted to "Motherland defenders day" within the programme of "the month of mass patriotism" which was carried out from December 14, 2006 through January 14, 2007. There participated the teachers and employees of the college along with captain Ergashev Z. and Samiyeva S. from military precinct 84/112 of Samarkand province. Those who emerged with speech talked about the holy duty of defending the Motherland and its borders.
